The contact spray absorbs and displaces water. It provides long-lasting protection against penetrating moisture, thus preventing the formation of the above-mentioned creeping currents. It dissolves oxidised contact points and provides long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion. It is a resin solvent and should not be sprayed on coils and similar connections.
